Aesthetics Aftercare
Aesthetics aftercare guide please read below
- Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, caffeine and alcohol for at least 24 hours after your appointment.
- Avoid touching/rubbing the area or applying any topical products for at least 24 hours after treatment. This includes face creams and makeup, to reduce the risk of infection.
- Avoid exercise, sunbeds and extreme heat for at least 48 hours after treatment. This can cause migration of filler, and extreme bruising/swelling.
- Avoid spicy/salty foods for 24 hours as these can cause extreme swelling through dehydration.
- Bruising, swelling, redness and tenderness are all normal side effects after treatments. However, if you are concerned, please contact us straight away.
- Arnica cream/tablets can be used to help with bruising.
- Make sure you drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated. This is important for all injectable treatments and the healing process.
Please text your practitioner with your concerns ASAP.
